Disaster Prevention

Services > Core-IT

IT-Disasters do come in different flavours, but, be assured, they DO come!

Examples

Technical Disasters
Viruses, Worms, file corruption, hard drive crash & failure, power failure, system updates, etc

Human Disasters

Accidental changes, deletions or overwritten files, theft (laptops, drives), disgruntled employees, etc

Natural Disasters

Fires, flood, storm damage, lightning etc

Laptop Disasters

Laptops frequently overheat, suffer hard drive failures or power outages, get dropped and damaged, lost and stolen

While you can not prevent floods and other natural disasters, this is no reason for not having a plan B in case something happens. Talk to us about prevention of a total data loss by applying due care in time.

Data Loss Statistics

Data loss is a lot more common and costly than you might have thought.

  • 1 in 4 PCs suffer a data loss in a given year
  • Companies lose billions/yr. from data loss
  • 7 out of 10 small firms that experience a major data loss go out of business within a year
  • 1 out of 10 laptops are stolen within a year of purchase; 97% are never recovered

Ask Yourself

  • What would you do if you suddenly lost your data?
  • How much would it cost to recover your data?
  • Would your business be able to survive?
